How it works

Choose 250g or 1kg. Choose beans or ground. Choose frequency.

We'll send out a pack of coffee to your door. Your coffee will be freshly roasted by us at our barn in Elsworth, rural Cambridgeshire and delivered in sustainable packaging in the post. You can also select local pickup from our coffee shop in Papworth Everard, The Courtyard Coffee Shop & Micropub.

Freshness - our beans will come into their own a few days after they've been roasted. This allows time for the beans to de-gas (CO2 doesn't taste wonderful so it's best to wait for it to leave the beans over the few days following the roasting process)

Quality - so important; our coffee is speciality grade (above a score of 80 on the Speciality Coffee Association grading system and tested by experts) and we buy from respected and trusted suppliers who do their due diligence, visit the plantations themselves and know their products and people.

Varied - Our beans come from specific regions, so you get to try a diverse range of flavours. There are so many factors that affect how our beans taste. Soil type, wind direction, how far up the mountain they grow, how they are processed after they are picked, how they are roasted by us and eventually how you grind them and make your coffee in the end. We craft our own blends, too, which means we roast and pair coffee beans together that have complementary flavours and tastes. There are so many possibilities and this is one of the most fun parts of our job and means you get to try so many different combinations with your subscription.
